Billion Dollar Catch has a lighter, summery setup than the first two Seattle Billionaires books, but it still leans into the kind of emotional tension Olivia Hayle does well. It follows a woman who is house-sitting for the summer when she ends up in an awkward first encounter with Ethan Carter, her wealthy next-door neighbor—a tech billionaire and single father with two young daughters. From there, the story builds on proximity, age-gap tension, and the uncomfortable fact that their lives do not seem to fit together on paper. He is coming off a painful divorce, she is not looking for her heart to get complicated, and yet the easy attraction between them keeps pushing past the boundaries they try to set. The premise feels warm, glossy, and romantic on the surface, but underneath that it is very much about trust, timing, and whether something real can grow between two people who have plenty of reasons to keep things simple.
